When we say activated charcoal it simply means the general charcoal burned in a particular way. In which it has developed a lot of small spaces or pores in it. These holes will help in catching the chemicals and dirt.

By heating carbonaceous substances like coconut shells in very high-temperature charcoal is created. To make it activate they are exposed to very hot air or steam. It erodes the internal surfaces and it increases the absorptive surface area.

Benefits of Activated Charcoal on the Skin and Its Mask

  • Use of high amount may end up in the irritated and reddened Just a bit is more than enough to help you in keeping your surface sparkling clean (Funny, right? How a something black and burnt makes you brighten and clean. Nature!!! ).
  • Bowls and spatulas better are of glass, wood or mason. Nothing metal should come in touch.
  • The clay absorbs metal and becomes less effective.
  • Use brushes to apply. Or your nails will be a disaster. Activated charcoal stuck in your nails will go inside your tummy. It will cause you serious discomfort like nausea, vomiting,
  • Always follow with a toner and moisturizer.
